That stinks...so sorry!
Right now it's just classified as Type-II (formerly known as adult-onset). My levels aren't real high, so we're not going to do any medical treatment right now, just dietary modifications (reduce carbs and lose weight).
Great, now you have one MORE thing to balance in the mix. So sorry to hear this. I hope that diet control is effective for you and your body can heal at a faster rate.
Thanks. That's what I'm hoping for, too. The doctor seems optimistic that if I can get my weight down I can get this under control. And he's also pretty confident that if I don't get the weight down it's just going to keep getting worse....
